The Ones We Were Told to Forget

Memory is not always quiet. Sometimes, it is an act of resistance. This work confronts antisemitism and the lives erased by hatred. The central figure carries within her the presence of those who were denied a future. Each small spirit represents a silenced voice, a child who never had the chance to grow. Beneath the apparent innocence of the pastel world lies the weight of collective memory. The Ones We Were Told to Forget is an homage to those lost, and a refusal to let their absence become oblivion.
