ManikVisuals
“I create contemporary art through hand-drawn, handmade, and phygital processes, blending original painting, expressive textures, abstraction, and digital experimentation. My work explores inner processes, nature, identity, and transformation, connecting the tactile qualities of physical art with the evolving possibilities of digital expression.”

About ManikVisuals
SolPersonaManik Das, known as ManikVisuals, is a contemporary artist from Kolkata, India, with a background in Visual Art and specialisation in ceramic art and pottery. My artistic practice has evolved from traditional materials and handmade processes into experimental painting and phygital art. I combine physical painting, drawing, textures, and expressive marks with digital editing, layering, mirroring, and glitch effects to create distinctive visual compositions. My work explores inner processes, transformation, nature, fragmented landscapes, identity, and the connections between physical and digital experiences. Through abstraction, colour, texture, and experimentation, I seek to reveal unexpected relationships between material surfaces and digital imagery. I believe in the continuous evolution of art, where traditional skills and contemporary technologies can coexist. Each work reflects a personal process of observation, experimentation, and becoming. Based in Kolkata, India, I continue to explore new possibilities in contemporary art across physical and digital mediums.
