“I capture the quiet beauty of nature, from intimate macro details to expansive landscapes, in both colour and black and white. Through light, texture and atmosphere, I seek to reveal the extraordinary in the ordinary and create images that invite a moment of stillness and wonder.”

About FotoGraaGHanneke

SolPersona

I am Hanneke, the artist behind FotoGraaGHanneke, a Dutch photographer and digital artist with a lifelong fascination for the beauty hidden in the world around us. My love for photography began in childhood, inspired by my father, who introduced me to the camera and the magic of the darkroom. My grandfather taught me to notice the little things in nature, a lesson that continues to shape the way I see the world today. For my photographic prints, I focus primarily on nature, macro photography and landscapes. I am drawn to delicate textures, intricate details, changing seasons, the play of light and shadow, and the quiet moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. Whether I am exploring a tiny detail in a flower or the vastness of a landscape, I look for an image that evokes a feeling rather than simply documents a scene. I work in both colour and black and white, choosing the approach that best expresses the character and atmosphere of each photograph. Natural light, subtle contrasts and a sense of depth are important elements in my work. Sometimes it is the richness of colour that draws me in; at other times, removing colour reveals the essence of a subject. Alongside photography, I explore AI, digital art, 3D and animation. These different disciplines allow me to experiment and express my imagination in many ways, but photography remains a special way for me to connect with the world as I experience it. My work is an invitation to slow down, look a little closer and rediscover the beauty in both the grand and the seemingly insignificant. I hope my prints bring a sense of calm, curiosity and connection to the spaces they become part of.
