Chris Landmann

I’m a Brazilian Canadian multidisciplinary artist based in Toronto. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a two-year postgraduate degree in Art History, and I’ve been creating for over 25 years. Along the way, I volunteered in the education department at the Pinacoteca do Estado in São Paulo, Brazil, and I’ve also worked in jewelry design and making, among other crafts. In 2018, I moved to a small city in northern Ontario, where I felt isolated from the art scene. Entering Web3 in 2022 was a relief: I discovered a whole community of creators connecting virtually, which opened doors to exhibitions around the world. Digital art, which I taught myself, became my main medium. I’ve also written for Aguilar ART & NFT Magazine, and since moving to Toronto, I’ve been taking creative writing courses at the University of Toronto. I’m a supporter of the arts and an advocate for mental health awareness. I’ll never stop experimenting and researching, and I believe creativity will have an important place in the AI era.
