Ant Biolap

I grew up in a family of educators. My mother taught children to play the piano, and my father taught swimming. I loved drawing and making things, but I followed my father into sport and achieved good results as a swimmer. An injury eventually brought that chapter to an end. At 30, I returned to art. Around that time, I noticed that my name, Anton, could be playfully read as “Ant on.” That idea inspired Happy Ant’s Studio. My degree in mechanical engineering also shapes my work, bringing technical thinking together with creativity. My motto is: “Art has no boundaries; it’s an open space.” I believe every artwork tells a story and can connect people across cultures and backgrounds. A turning point came when I learned that Samuel L. Jackson had bought a couple of T-shirts featuring my designs, inspired by his work. Knowing that an actor I admire connected with my art gave me confidence to keep creating and exploring new ideas. I share my art worldwide through digital marketplaces and NFTs, blending traditional and contemporary techniques. I also collaborate with artists, especially Yulia Yurchevskaya. Together, we’ve exhibited our NFT projects around the world, and in the future, we may show our art on The Walls.
