"Time doesn't heal, nor does it destroy. It simply flows, indifferent to our desire to stay." The Buddha’s Hour is a dark monochrome graphite study on impermanence (Anicca) and the inevitable cycle of Samsara. At the center stands a stone Buddha, serene and impassive, preparing to tilt the glass and restart the loop. Trapped inside, a human figure reaches upward in a desperate attempt to grasp youth and vitality. Yet, as the seconds slip through the narrow neck of the hourglass, flesh inevitably yields to bone, decaying into dust and skulls below. A visual meditation on Memento Mori — reminding us that every moment of existence is merely a flash between two turns of the glass. Details: Hand-drawn digital graphite pencil artwork.
